“Friday-Fortnight” Interviews

Hi guys,

Here’s a short note to let you know that I’ve booked the first guest for my new Friday-Fortnight interview slot.

Expect interesting news, world-shattering exposés, and a deep investigation into the dark psyche of the author’s mind.

Nah, not really, I’m just jotting down notes during a fireside chat with some author friends of mine. Occasionally even this curmudgeonly recluse invites friends  to stop by for tea and cakes, oh and coffee for the Americans.

Mark the date on your calendar, 17th October.

Cheers,
Kerry.

PS: My first guest is Laurie Boris, writer of literary fiction, can’t wait for you guys to meet her.

About the Author:

#1 Amazon bestselling author with the US-based Lucky Shores thriller series and the Ryan Kaine action thrillers, and creator of the popular DCI Jones Casebook series of crime novels, Kerry J Donovan was born in Dublin. A citizen of the world, he currently lives in a stone cottage in the heart of rural Brittany, which he took five years to renovate with his own gnarled and calloused hands. The cottage is a pet-free zone (apart from the field mice, moles, and a family of red squirrels). He has three children and four grandchildren, all of whom live in England. An absentee granddad, Kerry is hugely thankful for the modern miracle of video calling.

I’m very much looking forward to your posts, Kerry. I didn’t realize you were from Dublin. It’s a beautiful city. I had to laugh, though, when I once bought a Guinness t-shirt, printed in irish, from a Dublin tourist shop. When I asked the young shopgirl if she could please translate it for me, she looked very sheepish. Finally, she shrugged and said, “Oh. Well now, you know, I didn’t really pay any attention in that class.” Nice to know kids are the same everywhere! 😀

      Yep so right.
Believe it or not, I speak a bit of Welsh and French, and of course, English, but not a word of the Gaelic.
      Thanks for your support, LF.

      😉

I'd love to know your thoughts...

Reader Reviews

  • On the Rocks is another Donovan winner. Plenty of action, adventure, characters you care about and ones you REALLY love to hate. This book is like every other Donovan novel I have read in that it is well-written, never gets dull or boring, the story smoothly flows from beginning to a terrific ending and leaves you anticipating the next one. Teresa Collins
  • A beautifully drawn out novel, very atmospheric and a seamless journey from the UK and into France. Beathag (Amazon)
