There are quite a few red herrings which build the excitement and the big reveal at the end left me reeling as I never saw it coming.

I loved the sarcasm and sense of humor of the character of Phil Cryer. The plot of the story was so engrossing and kept me entertained until the last page was turned. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys well written suspense with lots of fast paced action.

Ryan Kaine is a hard as nails ex Royal Marine who is setup to take the fall for shooting down a commercial airline killing 83+ people. I was prepared to dislike Ryan after reading the opening scene but the author’s development of this character soon had me cheering him on.

It captured my attention from page one and didn’t let me go until the end. The plotting of this story was excellent! I spent a lot of time on the edge of my seat. The twists and turns in the story kept me turning the pages only to find that again I had guessed wrong about the identity of the mole.

The idea behind this book is great and only a talented writer could have pulled it off. Donovan does a great job at keeping the reader guessing right to the end, so I will do my best not to give too much away – you’ll have to read it to find out.

Strict Genre books are okay, but when different genres are skillfully blended they become a whole new animal. When done right, which Donovan does, the combination of Supernatural Thriller, Mystery, Action, and Science Fiction seems perfectly natural.
